Default Why Do Trainers Have Primes?

Training doesn't rely on physicality to the extent boxing does, but history has shown trainers have peaks then they gradually fade into obscurity. Training always seemed like a cognitive job which can be done for a long time.

Is it a matter of opportunity? You're only going to work with your best fighter for one period of your life, and you're only as good as your fighter. The twilight of your peak follows the twilight of his career.
