    The Maussa vs Vivian Harris one does come to mind as Harris was starting to get some hype. Emanuel Steward was big on him.

        The only one I can think of that kinda fits the criteria is Tyson-Mcbride. Mcbride was supposed to be a 'stepping stone' for Tyson's next title run. As we all know, Kevin "im a contender, not a pretender," ended that run pretty quick

                    I don't know if these are tune ups rather than "set ups" but Zab baldomir. Also Tito bhop cost tito the roy jones fight and like 20 mil.
