no lucky shot. over the course of there fights Marquez had landed a timed right hand when pac lunged in. What happened last night was Marquez dropped pac in the third and after that he was looking for the big shot to end all matters. He was setting the big shot up not with his offense but was trying to postion himself to respond in the middle of an exchange with pac. which resulted him eating up more shots in the fifth but he found what he was looking for in the 6th and pac to sleep

see his sparring vid go to the 0:33 second mark and you will see him dropped his sparring parther with same shot. both pac and the sparring parther step to Marquez with a jab and marquez had his lead foot on the outside which allowed him to land pacs sleeping pill.....zzzzzz.....

Pac was careless and stupid. Left himself open against a very good counter puncher. I was even calling it during the fight that Pac will get careless. I'm still surprised he got ktfo. Ate that right hand like he didn't eat for weeks.

Yes, there was some element of luck involved with the punch.

But the luck wasn't that JMM took advantage of a Pac mistake. Since the ability to take advantage of another fighter's mistake is not luck. It's one of the elements of SKILL.

The lucky part was that when Manny lunged in he accidentally clipped JMM's foot with his foot. This threw Manny off balance and left his chin open and defenseless for about 1/10th of a second.

1/10th of a second he didn't have to spare with a boxer as clever, motivated, and newly powerful as JMM.
