How heavy of a bag should I be working?
I'm 5'6", ~126 pounds. Skinny built, I'm Filipino.
I've recently/still overcoming a long shoulder injury/pain(nothing too serious) and I feel it might of been those left hooks to a heavy bag I've been throwing.
Does it matter how heavy of a bag I hit?
Oh yeah, please don't mention punch technique as being the issue.. although my technique isn't flawless it's not like I just began boxing this week.

I hurt my shoulder and had to rest for 10 weeks then started training again. My shoulder hurt a little when i got back to training hitting a 80 kg bag with left hooks. I took it easy for the first one or two weeks, only hitting the bag lightly with left hooks to get the muscle used to the movment then the pain disappered. Now im more or less back to normal. If the muscle hurt when you do the movment you should take it easier and let it get accustomed.
Im no doctor this is just what worked for me recovering from injury.
