  • Mayhem's first ufc opponent names...

On Friday, Jason "Mayhem" Miller (24-7 MMA, 0-1 UFC) announced he was returning to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

On Saturday, UFC brass announced he's already lined up to fight.

UFC officials today announced Miller will meet wrestling standout Aaron Simpson (8-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) at July's "UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber II" event.

Damn their ain't that many middleweight contenders for Jacare. They might as well bring him in and let them finish their business for the last time. I remember some bad blood from those fights.

But I guess they'd want to have him win coming in so an AAron Simpson fight doesn't really bother me. Aaron has a slim chance of catching him with a punch or just wrestling him to a decision but Mayhem isn't no slouch on the feet or on the ground so Aaron might look good early but will eventually collaspe under Millers pressure.

He also beat Ruthless Robbie Lawler back when Lawler had an argument for being a top 10 middleweight, well he was top 10 but he could easily be top 5 back when after he lost to tanner he went 10-1 in his next 11 fights before he lost to Shields. Was middleweight champ until he lost to Jake Shields.

Also beat Tim Kennedy who everybody likes these days. He's emerging as a solid fighter at middleweight. Like to see him fight in the UFC against guys like Belcher to see if he can become elite.
