I've noticed theres lots of different skipping tricks/variations you can learn.
Is it better to aim to master say half a dozen of the more practical variations and push yourself with interval/endurance work or to get as much variety as you can? if the former, what would you consider the most practical variations of skipping for boxing?

Once you have mastered normal skipping move onto:
Running with knees high.
Then once you can do them your pretty much set to do anything.
Cross legs, switching stance skip, moving skip etc.
For more info on any of these just reply in this thread.
