Almost every fighter uses protein shakes it is a good way to keep an active regimen and not burn any muscle for the extensive cardiovascular exercises they do.

Man ya'll cat gonna hate me, but ya'll gonna learn tons of **** from me. Cardio don't burn muscle, cardio burns calories, protein consumption is not as important as calories consumption. Lean muscle requires food to turn it into motor energy. Calories are nothing more than heat energy, Like gasoline. Excess calories are stored because they are of no used. Long story short more quality calories, minimal saturated fats. Protein is neccessary but now in the quantities that most people tell you. 1 gram of protein for every 2.2 pounds of lean mass, fat don't require protein for rebuilding, fat doesn't require anything is has not needs. So 1 gram per lb bodyweight is rediculous. Follow that bruh and your muscles will be gold.

That actually a recommended diet for anyone, smaller more frequent meals that help keep your metabolism high and meets and not exceeds your daily requirements.
