Probably because of the tremendous crowd he just drew there. The bigger the crowd, the more money to split up.

You do realize that Mayweather-Mosley had the bigger live gate revenue even though they drew like 35K less than Pac-Clottey, right?

nope......not true 15,000 fans at MGM for SSM vs PBF made more money by a few million dollars at the gate than Pac v Clottey did....and 50,000 fans turned up.

The reason......

you can't charge a few thousand a pop for ringside at Cowboys stadium......you can at MGM Grand.

Easy man, It's where Margarito would have the best chances at being allowed to fight in the states & he'd bring a large crowd.

Seriously....who else does Top Rank have.

- Pac is retiring
- Cotto (sadly) is almost done
- Pavlik = silly coach and manager.......whoever decided to fight Maravilla needs to be sacked.

But if Pac really wants Floyd he will put old Bob in his place.

A Floyd-Manny fight will pack 100k in that stadium. Thats big money right there. Plus no state income tax like Vegas. Floyd would be an idiot to not want to fight Manny in Vegas. He should go back to being "Pretty Boy" because if he was about "Money", he'd fight in that big ass stadium.
