I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, once you got past the pretty graphics it was a generic shooter. I hadn't added it's own elements really or refined them. You can say the whole super suit thing was an new element but how many times have you played as a super soldier in a FPS now? It wasn't a bad game but just not groundbreaking and Crysis 2 will most likely be the best looking game out there for now.
Hopefully Crysis 2 will but right my concerns, Also while the first one running on max was incredible to look at. I actually think other games have better graphics even ones running on console because they utilise them better in terms of art style, backgrounds etc. So while they might not be as good technically they looked better to me. (like Gears of War 2, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 etc)

^ Second that! Probably a PC upgrade, me thinks it will require the twice the processor power recommended to run COD6:MW2.
I don't like the fact that the game will now apparently take place some decade since the first. I wanted to applaud the ending of the first, and I wanted to see what happens, like if they found his captain who went back to the island if I remember correctly... or does that happen in Crysis:Warhead?
