Default Axel Schulz

Do you remember this guy? He was a solid heavyweight from Germany who beat George Foreman but was robbed of the decision. He also had a close fight with Michael Moorer. Probably the best German heavyweight of the 90's. After he lost to Wlad Klitschko he had one comeback but lost badly to Brian Minto.

Axel Shultz was a very good fighter and is underrated because of being European. He would have won a world heavyweight title had the judging been fair in the fight with Foreman.

He was only age 30 when Wladimir became the first to really defeat him, but he retired for seven years. He's one of many fighters that had never been stopped or down before they fought Wlad.

Yeah, he also fought a prime Henry Akinwande to a draw. And lost to him on points in the rematch. Akinwande was one of the most avoided boxers then.
