You get 1KO in sparring, and BoxScene ranks you undisputed champ. Congrats... - Spiegelo your alt is on crack! lmao - Left Hook Tua No Message - T-97
Default N0Explode and other Pre-Workout Boosts

Anyone take any preworkout nitric oxide drinks before sparring, lifting, fighting, or training in any variety (pads, bags, cardio, etc)?

my supplements usually only include protein, vitamins, glucosamine, fish oil (all right when i wake up, the protein two hours before i lift, too, and right after), but N0exlode and the n0 drink called 'Black Powder' have peaked my interest. I tried ZizZazz today before lifting, but i felt no gains.... Anyone?

I used to take BSN NoXplode but I built up a resistance to fast and eventually found it counter-productive. I now take White Flood, a supplement from Controlled Labs. It's x10 better than NoXplode in pretty much every way. It's even cheaper, too, because it's not marketed through the UFC. :]

I disagree. I've used N.O. Xplode a bunch of times before I've lifted and it's worked great. I never actually thought I needed an extra pump in the gym though, my workout buddy just offered so I figured I'd try it. You will definitely get a pump out of it, however you have to cycle it (see directions) and I would not recommend it for cardio workouts like boxing or running because it already speeds up your heart rate as it is.

I bought some whey protein and they threw a free pack of that NOexplode stuff in the box. It was ok and I could see why people would use it to get motivated in the gym but it was kind of heavy on my stomach. I think if you can get it free than it's worth trying but not worth paying for. I don't think I'll ever use it again because it's expensive, doesn't sit well in my stomach and you get more energy from a cup of coffee.
