Thanks Mr. Ginther. I like the idea of the one year plan for myself but I can see where the other plan would be great for an athlete who may have to go in short notice.

Curly,

You can still use non-linear periodization methods progressively within a yearly framework. The difference is that you wouldn't focus on one particular biomotor ability at the exclusion of others.
