Attn: Roy Jones Jr. fans: Lets name all the cops and cab drivers on his resume.......

In addition lets find a source for him ducking Steve Collins. Strangely, I DO have Larry Merchant on video saying that Collins refused an offer from Roy. But my guess is that Ol Larry was lying and Roy was a ***** and scared.

    But here I'll start:

    Here's a cop:

New York Daily News Golden Gloves Champions
    ------------
Richard Frazier (Tricky Ricky) New York City's most talented boxing police officer. He was a cop by day and boxer by night. He won two New York Golden Gloves Championships. Frazier won both the 1985 165lb Novice Championship and five years later in 1990 Frazier won the 178lb Open Championship. In 1985 Frazier defeated Keith Providence of Gleason's Gym in the finals to win the Championship and in 1990 Frazier defeated future Light heavyweight contender Lou Del Valle of the Morris Park Boys Club in the finals to win the Championship. Amature record was 124-5 As a Pro, he fisrt beat Anthony Hembrick in Atlantic City then 6 months later scored a 6 round knock out in the rematch at Madison Square Garden. On Jan 9,1999 he fought for the IBF and WBC 175lb title against Roy Jones Jr. and was stopped in the 2nd round at the age of 40.

Any others? What a clown that Roy was.

Roy Jones fought plenty of garbage men, mail men and other assorted government workers during his stay at 175. I mean, Dariusz Michelszwski was out there ****ing people up! Who would want to fight him? Especially when Dariusz was so confident that he offered Roy 60/40 and agreed to come to America with HBO on board?

That was the point he was making.

I do rate Roy, but I can't see how he can be elevate to extreme ATG status on the basis of his comp. It's not THAT bad, but it's hardly enough to put him shoulder to shoulder with Sugar Ray Robinson IMO.

Bryant Brannon and Lou Del Valle were both garbage men or meter maids or some **** like that during the day.

Hmm, but i keep hearing that there were all these cops and cab drivers on this page for years and in other places.

Forum members, online boxing fans, guys like Ron Borges, "cops and cab drivers".

So I figured there would be more. Oh here's someone else who thinks so, a noted boxing authority:

Why not fight all of them??? Isnt that what boxing is about? Proving you're the best against the best?

Would've been a lot better than some of the cab drivers and policemen he fought.

Hmm, I see the bastard Roy Jones Jr. fans on wikipedia have removed their job descriptions and just left that they were boxers. ****** Roy fans.
