Default training gloves usage?

what are training gloves used for? I know sparring is one thing but what else? I know not too many people regularly use grant or cleto reyes gloves for sparring, especially hard sparring. I use my winning training gloves as bag gloves. what are training gloves made for? I know they make bag gloves, training gloves, and sparring gloves

Im guessing training gloves could be used for either sparring or straight up TRAINING like hitting bags and mitts i guess.

I have the Grant Training gloves - lace up. I use them for everything! I love it.

yeah, training gloves = sparring/bag/mitts

training gloves wear out faster on the heavybag, though.

that's why it's not recommended to use the same pair of training gloves for both sparring and bagwork. the padding gets worn out, and your sparring partners will suffer more damage.

so they will be better for drilling/bag/mitts? i honestly feel like I favor training gloves for the bag/mitts over actaul bag gloves since they are softer
