He will, you folks love that man over there, hes up by 40 points, which to put it in perspective, Abbot of heavy red Texas who is up for reelection is only up 20 points against his opponent in comparison.

The better question is did you cast a vote for Pocahontas or Diehl?

Abbott's opponent is a lesbian (Latina) county sheriff whom is so incompetent she lost her gun. And she is not supported by the Dallas police union.

He'll even I voted against her and for Abbot who I consider a right wing nut job, but believe it or not he is LESS NUTS than the usual Texas conservative nut job. Remember this is the state that elected George W Bush as governor.

Actually Abbott is competent. The problem is he has less power than the Lieutenant Gov, who is a certified right wing crazy.

I think she (Lupe Valdez) is getting a bump because of BetoO'Rourke energizing the Dems base.

You don't have to tell me about Texas. I bet you're voting O'Rourke, aren't you?

I voted for Pocahontas because Diehl wants to loosen and roll back gun laws in the state. For me, that's a "diehl" breaker!

Massachusetts has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and, to no surprise, have lowest rate of gun deaths. Gun control saves lives

The key everyone in this thread is missing is this dude is a moderate Republican that has criticized Trump and not gone to the far right with the rest of the party. Essentially he is what the idiot Trumpers would call a RINO.

No wonder he is doing well.

              Not in Chicago.

              Or Washingron DC.

              Or Detroit.

              Or New Orleans.

              And on and on.

              Criminals love unarmed victims.

Im surprised you'd vote against self-preservation and the right to defend yourself with a gun if needed.

If my choices were Ted Cruz, Satan and Adolf Hitler, I would have been difficult for me because I'd have a hard time deciding between Satan and Hitler.

Yes I voted O'Rourke. I like more of what he has to say than Cruz, who we all can agree is a liar. Or don't you believe what Donald has to say about him?

I already said I voted for Abbott. If you didn't know that, would you have said "You're voting for Valdez, aren't you?".

You vote O'Rourke and you call yourself a Texan?

What exactly do you like that Orourke likes to say, that he's pro illegal immigration and socialism?

You complain about political correctness and the restriction of free speech and you cast your vote for Pocahontas?

You're worried about gun regulation? Something that accounts for .0001% of the total deaths, and that's the issue that hits home with you?

I see we still have a long way to go before we weed out that anti 2nd Amendment/American sentiment out of the north east.

Those sort of Republicans can only do well in a heavy blue state like Oregon, put him anywhere else in the country where the landscape is heavy red and he doesn't even get out of the primary.

What are your thoughts on your new governor? I read that he introduced some additional gun control measures on top of the very strict ones your state has already, as well as proposed a 1.3 Billion dollar tax hike?
