That's one of the cycles of politics.

Ds mess up a place, an R comes in to fix it, and then they vote the Ds back again. It's an endless cycle of stupid.

We saw it NYC in the 80s/90s when it was so crime ridden you had citizens like Bernard Goetz having to shoot criminals just to get home on the train.

The people of NYC elected Republican Rudy Giuliani, who fixed up the city, cleared out the crime, and saw prosperity.

Now they've elected a communist D as their mayor and things are getting bad again.

Same in California. Liberals ran that State for decades, and they messed it up so bad they had rolling blackouts where electricity wasnt even available to the populace like you see in Third World countries.

They elected an R governor, who although a RINO, he did keep the lights on.

Now they have a new D governor, whose seeing crime and debt skyrocket, and is adding more regulations despite that being the root of the electricity blackouts.

Stupid people never learn. It's what makes them stupid.

I (early) voted to re-elect republican governor Charlie Baker in MA. I hope he wins in a landslide.
