JMM won a close fight. He's been robbed before, so I'm not surprised.

Just watched it, here's my scorecard
      R1: Marquez
      R2: Marquez
R3: Marquez (Could go either way, John landed the biggest punch of the fight here but Marquez was the busier man and did more work throughout the round, depends on how you judge I guess)
      R4: Marquez
      R5: Marquez
      R6: Marquez
      R7: Marquez
      R8: John
      R9: Marquez
      R10: Marquez
      R11: John
      R12: John

I've never seen Marquez and John before and thought I would have a look see when I saw this thread. Here's how I had it.

          Round 1: 10-10 Even
          Round 2: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 3: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 4: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 5: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 6: 10-10 Even
          Round 7: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 8: 10-9 Marquez
          Round 9: 10-9 Marquez
Round 10: 9-9 Even (scored for Marquez but dubious call for a low blow cost JMM 1 point)
Round 11: 9-9 Even (again scored for Marquez but another dubious call for a low-blow for another point)
          Round 12: 10-9 Marquez

          Total: 118-110 Marquez

I just don't know what fight the judges were looking at. Chris John mounted no attack at all. The only thing I can think of was the Indonesian audience had an effect, because they screamed at everything John threw - even when he missed.

I remember that one. Very disappointing. Norwood was absolute garbage.
