and yet..... Brook weighed 159, after weighing 176..... and yet..... he is a welter?

and...... you say that I have no rationale for insisting that Canelo was a JMW, despite the fact that he only weighed 1 pound over the JMW limit?

    o, k, then.....

    do you like tennis ?
Again with the 30 day weight junk. It's a false equivalence. What weight was brook entering the ring at as a ww?
Are you trying to say brook is as big as Canelo? Canelo came into the ring at 174 vs angulo. When a fighter is adding 15+ lbs between the weigh in and the fight...he's big for the weight class and probably needs to move up. You think Canelo needed the extra pound just because?

Canelo was whatever weight he could make...he wasn't a jmw when he wasn't making the 154lb limit.

He could have moved up before he did...he's as big as a lot of mws. He's just got that unfortunate short stocky frame where he carries too much weight for his height and reach.

no idea what happened in his preparation for that fight

Canelo should have weighed bang-on 160..... because adapting to middleweight should have been his main goal, to prepare for Golovkin..... and also because he was always going to have to win that fight as the smaller man, and I do not believe the extra 4lbs helped him in the slightest..... he should have weighed as close to 160 as possible in order to tailor his camp/routines for Golovkin
He prepared for 164lbs, that is an advantage.

Golovkin has never had to do that

Do you think the WBC was right to strip Canelo?

Would you have supported Roy if he did this?

          D4th.....

grow up, and stop scraping the bottom-of-the-barrel looking for silly excuse to protect your Lovekin

1 pound, does not equal 1 division..... arguing with a calculator in your hand is fkn ridiculous..... and frankly, quite childish

because if you had even the slightest clue you would realize two things.....

          1) there is no functional difference between 153.9 and 154.1

          2) it is childishly naive to use the lower divisional limit to assess a fighter..... because there is a world of difference between 154.1 (or 155) and 160..... practically an entire in division, in fact

I am saying..... your assertion that Canelo should be regarded as a middleweight because he re-hydrated to 170..... is total bullshht, that you pulled out of your ass

large JMW's rehydrate to 170..... and sometimes, so do cheeseburger-powered welters

it was 1 fkn pound you tool

Roy was not a coward and had to win fight at the negotiation table

Do you think Crawford should challenge Spence and Thurman at 143lbs

Why didn't he stay at 154 then, only 1 pound, but it is 1 division. Who knocked your teeth out in your selfie gumby, the one at the bottom of your page, just how I would imagine you to be, a nerd with no balls or teeth

So you think the champion of the weight division should be able to defend his title at a lower weight limit than title weight limit.

After Roy beat Ruiz, you think it would be OK for him to fight Lennox or any heavyweight contender at 205lbs

Or Maybe when Floyd beat Canelo at 152lbs he could defend that title at 152lb

                    Is that what you think?
