      They are the same. Don't be fooled because Carmen Basillo is butt ugly even without his eye swelled.

                  to the extent that it matters to a top flight prizefighter they have essentially the same injury


                  they cannot see out of one eye. morales with his passive eye and basilio with his lead eye (the eye that sees more punches first if you've an orthodox opponent throwing at you)


                  the swelling on morales face seems to be more widespread
                  and basilio has a cut that could impede his healing process and effect him down the road for later fights
                  and maybe the heavier swelling.

                  i wouldn't want to have either one on my face


                  and if you combine the two injuries you'd need to be led out of the ring because you'd be good as blind
