Honestly I hadn't heard anything about this until she was fired, but the orchestra is within their rights to ditch somebody who makes themselves a public liability.
That's also absolutely right. This happens all the time, the reason it's making news is because the the Ukraine/Russia thing is such a hot topic. If she was to be banned for speaking openly about some other not so mainstream issue no one would give 2 shits.

I laughed at the North Korea/Russia post

Granted, but she (presumably) lives in North America and seems to take aim at the US non-stop. She's retweeting stuff about US troops abusing children in Colombia and US military being involved in ISIS plots.

      * She lives in North Carolina apparently.

It would explain why she has such a wide-on for Vladimir Putin. It's amazing the number of people who will talk about how the Western governments are fascist and yet admire the "strength" of a guy who fixes elections, abuses the constitution, secretly orchestrates the invasion of a sovereign nation and makes people disappear for political dissent.

She hasn't been to Russia in years, she didn't support the corrupt old Ukrainian government. She supported the Euromaiden revolution in the beginning, but objects to the path it has taken since then.

She doesn't like the Kiev regime killing people in Eastern Ukraine who just want their freedom.

She objects to the right wing death squads operating in Eastern Ukraine with the blessing of the Kiev regime. Read this:

Disallowing potentially popular opposition from running on spurious grounds, preventing opposition leaders from having access to media, using government funds for the Putin campaign, irregularities in the vote count process, even accusations that Putin supporters were taken on buses to different polling stations to allow them to vote in multiple constituencies. Putin got 63% of the vote compared to 17% for his nearest rival.

She lives in North Carolina and supports Russian terrorist actions while at the same time voicing her stupidity on social media about perceived US injustice.... I think it's about time USA and Canada seriously start considering deporting these hypocritical turds from North America and sending them back to the place where they all seem to love so much.
