A 32 year old GGG would rape Canelo in front of his entire family.

Keep in mind that we're not also just talking about any athlete, but we're talking about a pressure fighter and pressure fighters have historically declined at a younger age than pretty much compared to boxers of any other style. Even Mike Tyson was severely declined by age 35. Why should Golovkin be an exception?

In Boxing it is different. A 35 Year Old Wladimir Klitschko was definitely better than a 28 or 29 year old Wladimir. Same for Vitali, and Lennox Lewis. Who at 34/35 never looked better than when he knocked out Hasim Rahman.

The way I see it is this. Make Canelo 35 years old and GGG 27 and not even Canelo's mother would pick him to win. Canelo's stamina at 35 would falter after the 4 round. It would have been painful to watch Canelo at 35 taking punishment from a 27 year old GGG.

But those are heavyweights who can fight well into their 30's. Smaller fighters dont have a prime that lasts like heavier fighters. Make Canelo 35 and GGG 27 and you would have a mismatch.

They're not pressure fighters. Technical boxers who rely more on fundamentals than athletic attributes have a greater longevity like Wladimir Klitschko and Lennox Lewis.

On the other hand, pressure fighters like Golovkin and Mike Tyson are a different story. They're entire style is dependent upon high intensity levels and that's one of the very first few attributes an athlete loses. Thus, they usually have a shorter career or don't perform as well during the latter stages of their career.

The unwarranted criticism and hate towards Golovkin is baffling and ridiculous.

Hard to say Canelo's at his peak, maybe physically but he still has some years he could improve.

It's amazing how far some individuals would go with their agendas.
Don't waste your time the individuals you are arguing with are known to not use logic. A 100 year old golovkin is in his prime if it suits their argument... or actually trolling attempt.
