while i agree that boxing needs more stringent drug testing, it should be regulated and should not be in the hands of fighters or whoever likes to demand it when they smell a big threat from their opponents.

After reading this I had a sift through the tweets and the tweet in question is this in full:
RT @VictorConte: Wonder if @AmirKingKhan and/or @SUPERJUDAH are open to Olympic style drug testing? Donaire and Ward have expressed an interest.[ Hey vic I'm down its Zab!!!
              http://tmi.me/bMhSE

I dunno if this means they can post this request after the fight has been signed. OST STILL has to be written into the contracts like Shane and Floyd did it the first time round.

Would be cool for the tests to happen.

Khan's wholesome image demands that he meet such demands with a positive response.

But no ACTUAL demand is being made...just a tweet between Victor Conte and Zab Judah sometime on Saturday night and that being blown up by a rumourmill news-site.

And you KNOW this is Monday so if anything official in terms of requests were to be made it would be this week...

                He aint Manny people.

Amir Khan: "I'm not scared of Needles"

Amir Khan has said he has no qualms in undergoing drugs tests ahead of his WBA light-welterweight title defence against Paulie Malignaggi on Saturday.

Malignaggi recently voiced his concerns about doping in boxing after Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather's fight was cancelled after a drug testing row.

However, Khan says he is willing to be tested at any stage ahead of the fight.

"I'm not scared of needles, if you want me to take a drug test, I'm happy to do that for you," said Khan.

Malignaggi had previously voiced his suspicions about Pacquaio's reasons for refusing Floyd Mayweather's demands for random blood and urine tests in the run up to their fight on 13 March.

Plus he has big hopes of fighting Mayweather. So he knows he will be taking the test in the future if that goes down.

LOL, Judah is returning to his old ways. Not a good sign for Zab.

A couple of thoughts I have on this:

1- I dont like fighters asking for things "after" contracts have been signed.

2- I understand Zab wanting Khan to do this after Khan himself didnt think he looked so great without Ariza.

3- If Kahn really does take the test while being in the same stable as Pac with the same trainers then that makes Pac look kinda bad.

4- If Kahn says this but then backtracks then he will look like he's a cheater in many people's eyes even though he wouldnt have looked that way if he wouldve said NO from the jump.

5- If Khan does take the test then I think its great for him mentally because he will then be comfortable doing it against Floyd when they meet. Ive said the same a million times about Pac. If he is willing to take the test now vs Floyd then he should be doing it in these other fights so he can get use to it by time he takes on Floyd. Why have it be a new thing to you in your biggest fight when you know you couldve tried it against these guys who had no real chance of beating you

Amir has no problem being tested, I believe Judah has come to the realisation of just how deep he is in with this fight and is trying to win some mental battles.
