It's not so much him having energy as Marquez being a bloated pig of a lighweight fighting at near welterweight against someone much much bigger. There were a lot of talk on the ground that Floyd didn't even weigh 146 lbs. for the 144 lbs. weigh in. He weighed much more. And during the fight they never announced the weights to cover up stuff.

People like to forget that it was Marquez who called out Floyd on live TV, unlike certain fighters in the Top Rank group, when asked who they'd like to fight next. It was Marquez who agreed to accept an over the weight penalty payment as part of the contract. It was Marquez who felt confident enough to challenge Floyd at the top level even though many thought it was a bad idea.

Marquez could have called off the fight until Floyd made the weight limit,
      but didn't.

Floyd beat but pathetically could not knock out the bloated pig of a light weight (who couldn't fight like a top 30 fighter that night at welterweight) that called him out and agreed to to accept an over the weight penalty payment as part of the contract.

As I recall Floyd refused to weigh in on fight day. Where does 166# come from?

Its been obvious Floyd is smarter than Oscar. Look at the amount of risk Floyd has taken compared to the Golden Boy and you'll see hes the smarter of the two. If he was as dumb as DLH its likely hed have a loss on his record by now.

Here is where Floyd proved he is smarter than Oscar.

Oscar, who is a little bit more honest of a human being than Floyd, honored the catch weight that he IMPOSED on Pacquiao. And it backfired on him because he wound up "draining himself" - a pathetic excuse for getting outboxed if there ever was one.

Floyd NEVER intended to honor his catch weight with Marquez at all. In fact, it was part of his plan never to get down to the catch weight where Marquez wouldn't even be able to function as a top 30 contender. He planned on paying the fines from the start knowing that his "Baby Papa" Elerbe had a secret way to have it refunded to him anyway. In the process he was able to be 166 lbs. on fight night while Marquez was a bloated and very slow pig well above his weight limit and had no chance of even beating a top 30 fighter at that weight.

Yes, Floyd is smarter than Oscar.
Yada...yada...yada When it all comes down to it Floyd is much dumber than De la Hoya. How? Well lets look at Money Mayweather Promotion vs. Golden Boy Promotions. Now you can say that De la Hoya is sweeter than Floyd because De La Hoya is sweeter than a candy can dipped in sugar!

Smart but dishonorable. Maybe it's shady tactics like this is why he wanted to "fix" the sport. He was probably feeling guilty.
