Also, if he was only 50% fit after two comeback tune up fights, then I don’t see how he will be any better in the rematch. Boxing gets harder as you age and use drugs, alcohol, it doesn’t get easier. He’s not going to age backward. So if he was only “50%” vs Wilder last year, after two tune ups, he will be around 30% in 2020.
He stopped the guy in his first fight back, beat Piñata by decision after that, then fought to a draw with Wilder after suffering two monstrous kd’s.
He’s getting worse, not better. The damage has been done. He killed his own prime, that was 2015-2018. His time to reign. Wilder doesn’t abuse his body, he’ll be fine for the next 2-3 years before father time catches up to him. Fury is younger by age, but not body, he aged his body to near 40 year old athlete now. Fury is on his last couple of years.
