  • What Are the Highest Bout Between Undefeated Fighters?

Which fights had both fighters undefeated with a combined 50 win record?

The two I can think of off my head are....

    Frazier v Ali was 51-0

    Gomez v Zarate was 73-0-1

Oh yeah, add to that Felix Trinidad & Yori Boy Campas who were 77-0 but Campas had 56 of those wins.....

When Zarate fought Alfonso Zamora, their combined record was 74-0 with almost every win by KO. It was a big event in SoCal and Mexico. Even though both were bantamweight champions, instead of unifying they made it a 10 round non title fight and pocketed the sanctioning fees. The sold out crowd didn't care one bit.

Sanctioning fees should be outlawed or somehow outright removed. Or, better yet, just remove most of these corrupt, governing bodies. Maybe just go WBA, WBC and Ring, that would work fine, like in the days of Ali and Frazier or Leonard and Hearns.
