    I agree with your sentiments.

    A real man to me was just a father figure that provided and was there for you while growing up...... I grew up with an alcoholic and abusive dad that I genuinely feared growing up, and my older bro of 4 years is a screw up because of it so never had a positive male figure in my life. My grandfather was a stroke victim and couldn't talk so there's that.

    Raised by strong women and had to fumble my way through life with no guiding male figure. I've done alright but that childhood definitely still effects me.

    How you act as a man, especially around children has deep and meaningful consequences for those around you.

    I'd just ask all men to remember that.
