  • Comments Thread For: Mayweather Not Impressed With Loma Win: Rigo Too Small

The former pound for pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr., was not very impressed with Vasyl Lomachenko's one-sided stoppage of Guillermo Rigondeaux, which took place last Saturday night at The Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. Mayweather always pops in to downplay another fighter winning and getting appointed as the pound for pound.

Just holding fighters to the same standards people held him to. "JMM too small" even though he went on to KTFO the P4P 1 at the weight.

Floyd and Marquez aren't even the same competitive mass ratio as Rigo vs Loma.

Pretty sure the "same standards" doesn't include not making the contracted weight...

rigo was not only 37 but heavily undersized. i mean horribly. think marquez mayweather but way way way worse. at least marquez went on to have a pretty d@mn good welterweight run. do anyone think a 37 year old rigo can do anything at 130? no.

so in a way he's right........and to add insult to injury you have guys screaming at the top of their lungs to accept this as a great unreal win for loma (when loma himself will tell u it was nothing great the guy was tiny)

hooooolly **** this place is screwed up when it comes to eastern euro fighters.....
