  • Roman Gonzalez was never top #100 P4P Never mind #1

Roman Gonzalez is the biggest hype job of all time. Former P4P #1 laughing my ass off. The resume:

Best win - Estrada - decent B level fighter
Other good wins - Cuadras - But he really lost this fight - ROBBERY.
    ... ... ... No other good wins.

Then faced 20-1 underdog Wisaksil Wangek a rat-eating champion turned boxer, who had already lost to Akira Yaegashi, Yushin Yafuso, Kenji Oba and Cuadras. Wangek won clearly on points and knocked Gonzalez down. The badly scored split decision didn't really matter. They rematched and he KO'D him brutally and outclassed him from the start.

Why was there so much hype around the midget, bum-bully Gonzalez? What is it with overrating these tiny slappy fighters in P4P stakes? There's at least 40 heavyweights better P4P than Gonzalez.

Probably a bit excessive but he definatley wasn't number 1

People who didn't even watch his fights used to rate him as it was "trendy"

That you didn't use the widely used name, Rungvisai, is clear evidence you're just reading names off Boxrec or whatever.

Rungvisai has a hell of a story about those early losses, and he arguably shouldn't have lost to Cuadras.

He was overhyped without a doubt. I never had him number 1 or close

Two scenarios are likely at play here -

              1. You really are dumb as ***** and shouldn't make threads.

              2. You are simply trolling looking for a reaction.

It's one or the other. No other possibilities.

another uneducated post based on looking at boxingrec

chocolatito fought most of his career at flywgt, where he dominated almost everyone he fought
he moved up in wgt, clearly the smaller man, but fought to a close dec. no shame in that.

                    Cuadras had this tho..

Cuadras win over Rungvisai was suspect!
