I was going for Canelo but felt a draw was fair and could go either way. By the amount of people leaning the way of GGG or Canelo I feel the draw was adequate.
Canelo made GGG look slow. And GGG was the aggressor. It really comes down to what kind of fighter you prefer.
IMO if you like Floyd. And you like boxing vs fighting. Then you will lean Canelo. He was the "make them miss make them pay". If you like the guy that comes forward and is aggressive then you probably thought GGG won the fight.
The Byrd card was garbage but it it said Canelo by a closer margin I would be ok.
I believe this result was fair. One thing is for sure. it was a great fight. And a great representation of the sport. The only black eye is the byrd card. Let's discuss.
