Don't mean to be rude, but not only can you not know that without having seen every fight up to that point as well as that one, but it's just BS.

Armstrong had great wins just before Zivic, such as Lew Jenkins, but he also came to have great wins after those two fights too. He came back after those losses to beat greats such as Fritzie Zivic himself, Lew Jenkins, Tippy Larkin (who afterward went on a four year win streak with some huge names), Sammy Angott, Juan Zurita, Jackie Burke, etc. They are huge wins man.

You might think because he never won a title again, he was done, but he never got another title shot. Some of those guys were past their past, but they still had some big wins left in them, as evidenced by their records and against the name of Armstrong they would have been fully trained and motivated to get their careers back on track but losing to him showed that Armstrong had a lot left in the tank.

He was in his prime when he got beaten Zivic, despite the tactics.
