One of the most overrated medalists in the entire games.
Lucky that O'Reilly was caught and then barely won his fights only to get schooled by Melekuziev (no shame in that because he is one of the top 10 p4p amateurs talent wise).
The only reason why he is hyped is because he is a mexican with a medal even tho it is a weak one.

Same could be said about a lot of other NON MEXICAN amateurs too.

Yes, in almost every category at least one of the medalists is a weak one, but Rodriguez is not impressive at all besides his toughness.

3 fights is nothing for a prospect his age. Should be at least 5-6. Teofimo Lopez turned pro in November and has his 3rd pro fight on Friday

Sure. Minimum of 3 fights this year, but I agree with you. He needs a good double digit record to even be taken seriously as a ''Mexican'' but more importantly to represent Ring Star. He's only 22. Gilberto Ramirez is 25. Probably around 2019 can we get Misael get ready for a title shot. seems like a long time from now...

he really should have 6 fights this year and 6 more next year before tapering to 5 and then 4
