The B side was literally trying to guarantee them a minimum of 50 million dollars for the first fight. Nobody in the history of heavyweight boxing has ever been given that big of a guarantee.

It's clearly not about money because if the fight goes to the UK, both fighters are going to make significantly less than what the B side was offering.

Not to mention it's clear Joshua isn't going to get a 50 million+ dollar guarantee anywhere else.

If you turn down the biggest guaranteed money any heavyweight had ever been offered for a fight to unify the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring, and lineal titles... then you clearly don't want the fight.

He won't fight him for the money.
He won't fight him to become undisputed.
He won't fight him simply because he's clearly the best available fighter.

So how can you possibly say Joshua wants the fight?

Wilder holds the wbc belt.so regardless of what he's paid, a beltless challenger can't ask for a similar purse to wilder. And after wilder Vs fury Joshua becomes the B SIDE so I hope he's ready to not be overcompensated as a b side

Warren is an opportunist and his comment is one-sided just to make the Fury-Wilder fight looks good. It is funny that he didn't mention it that Wilder's team avoided meeting Fast Eddie who wanted a meeting with Finkel and others. If the contract is that good while avoid Hearn?

No amount of promotional talk can make this fight look good for real boxing fans. What we want to see is Joshua-Wilder. Let the US casuals keep getting frenzied over Wilder fighting unprepared Fury. It's a shame.

Wilder fans would pass as good laboratory materials to assess the stupidity of the United States.

Default AJ Team didn't want the fight.................

The Americans and British close to the situation are saying Hearns crew didn't want the fight so that pretty much sums it up for me. Now we're probable getting Fury vs Wilder which in the end whoever wins that fight will be seen as the "true" heavy weight champ in the division and the owner of the green belt. This will make it harder for AJ team to negotiate what they would have received previously. I really feel they don't want to fight Wilder and would be more comfortable fighting Fury.

Considering this is pretty much an eliminator to fight AJ I doubt he's gonna be the B-Side.

Also the fact that he has such a large casual fan base which brings most the revenue to the fights he is involved in makes him more like Canelo where he probably doesn't even need the belts to be the 'A-side'.

I think it's been pretty clear for a while AJ's team, not AJ necessarily, didn't want the fight. At least not now. Sure, there are people who will defend AJ to death regardless of the circumstances, I'm sure Wilder has fans willing to do the same, but for anyone capable of separating themselves from their biases, it's pretty obvious AJ's team was not letting this fight happen now.

So we're supposed to take the word of a guy who just admitted that he was helping Wilder's team "put this thing together" (whatever the fck that means) as the unbiased truth? This guy is Tyson Fury's promoter! Is it supposed to be a coincidence that he is admitting that he played a role in a negotiations process that seemed like it was intended to fail and his fighter that he promotes has now miraculously benefited from the fallout? Why is Frank Warren involved in negotiations between two boxers that he has no promotional interest in? Why is Frank Warren talking about a $50,000,000 offer that EVERYONE KNOWS WAS NO MORE THAN A PUBLICITY STUNT? Why does Frank Warren care how much money Deontay Wilder makes? And why is Frank Warren advocating for Deontay Wilder and his 50/50 split demand? This statement by Frank Warren is so obviously suspicious when you put it in context that I'm sure most people on the comment boards will go out of their way to ignore how fishy it is. This media manipulation sht is a scurge on society. Deontay Wilder and his merry band of liars are using the same tactics that the Ferguson Police Department used to manipulate the media in the murder case of Mike Brown that eventually allowed the murderer Darren Wilson to walk free. It's disgusting that people are still so willingly ignorant to fall for such thinly veiled deception.

Bingo. And for all we fans say they cant turn down that much money, they have earned the right to decide what they want more, money, or control.

People joke about all the ****e Hearn talks in the media, how media trained Joshua is, all the social media online stuff etc, but doing all that stuff has made him the most marketable fighter on the planet, and pretty soon the highest earning. They put the work in, and now no other fighter can dictate what they should or shouldnt do
