I see this car as kind of like the 427 Shelby Cobras, but on a much more extreme scale. British original, the AC Ace, with an American made powertrain. This happens to be a Lotus Exige with a GM sourced 427 cubic inch engine sporting some hair dryers, with the the whole thing combined by Hennessey Performance. I still can't figure out if it is a bored out LS9 or LS7.
It isn't a "one" off car.
But it isn't considered a "production" car by Guinness to claim their record. Plus it only ran the one time, and not twice up and back.
One thing is for sure. It's fast as holy hell.Last edited by Sweet Pea 50; 02-25-2014, 12:38 AM.

I was about to say... can't be a production car.
But 270 is insane. Just went Ludicrous Speed off the launch.

Good ol pea using the bait and switch.
Another fast one is the Koenenessig(sp? lol) Agera R, but at the same time, I hardly consider that a "production". I mean strictly speaking, yes, they will produce it for the (relative) masses. I haven't read exactly but I'm sure they'll make like 7 x year at most.

It's a manual, and as much as I or anyone else loves manuals- dual clutch transmissions have proven their worth. Porsche's PDK, Nissan dual clutch tranny in the GT-R, etc. That being said, it looks the car hits the 60mph mark in around 3 seconds.
