            Canelo faced better fighters than the other nominees over the last yr. He's not better than Crawford or Loma but you won't win fighter of the yr by beating amir khan and pedraza.

                He’s wayyyyyy better than those two. How in the hell did Crawford and Spence even get their credit. Those guys have fought nobody.....

                      Interesting view...Why would they do that? To "marinate" fights? Say what you will about UFC - they have lots of problems, but best not fighting the best isn't one of them. Maybe boxing would benefit a bit from some "pull your sht together and fight the best" directions from somebody who pays your bills. Besides, don't promoters dictate (or "influence"? ) who their fighters should fight?
