Jeff Horn has a quality win over Manny Pacquiao. There was some controversy surrounding that fight, but you can't argue with the paperwork or the resume! Inoue and Canelo have never beat an opponent that has beaten an ATG. Come on bro; you got to realize this chit!

Past prime pac that still got a win over what you guys thought was a GOD in Keith Thurman. Pac still got a bit of fuel left in the tank, so it was a quality win by Horn. Crawford made a good business decision going back with Bob, and all the other welterweights are DEAD SCARED of Crawford. You need to stop being a racist POS HATAH BOI!

Let's be honest here. Even Gamboa couldn't actually DROP Crawford and Gamboa at that time was way higher in terms of talent than current day Kavaliauskas. So what does that mean? It means Crawford's on the decline. That's fine - it happens. But it's who was able to show that decline. Remember, this is a guy that blew out Indongo in short order before moving up. Then 147 happened. Got taken 9 by Horn. Got taken almost full 12 by crippled Benavidez. Got taken 6 by a significantly damaged Amir Khan (when both Carnelo and Garcia got a fresher version of him out of there WAY sooner). Got dropped and taken 9 by unheralded Kavaliauskas - same Kavaliauskas that got all he could handle from 'eye test' Ray Robinson. So what I see is a guy who has great stamina, aggressive, not afraid to go to war...but who was basically a weight bully at 140. Now that he's 147, his aggression is all he has to work off of. Again, that's fine, but when you're talking someone like: Errol Spence, aggression isn't going to be enough. It never was. Danny Garcia? Aggression might get you knocked out. Shawn Porter? The Master of Aggression and sloppy throwing that somehow connects. Manny Pacquiao? Aggression is fine as long as you don't get hit back - because if Manny hits you, as we learned with Thurman, you're likely to go down. Yordenias Ugas? Solid chin, comes forward, has enough power to possibly cause Crawford problems if he lands. Like seriously - the performance last night doesn't give me any clarity as to why Crawford is rated so high. He's a solid fighter, but he's not at the top. He can't be. Getting dropped by significant underdogs? |
