Right, he didn't get rejected, but he obviously can't handle rejection and has serious fear of it.
I have no sympathy. A lot of boys and men get rejected or they figured they have no chance with a certain girl and they just move on.
Taking your anger out on someone and bullying is never an option, I hope the kid would at least learn his lesson. That type of behavior will only lead to something more serious if if goes unchecked.
Not every girl is the same, sometimes it's too hard to move past it. Bullying isn't the answer, but still.
