Liberal policies put taxes on everything, at an extremely high rate which causes prices to soar.

Housing being a prime example.

The smaller, modest house on the left in Cali, which is a perfect house for the poor/working class is priced well outside of that range.
That same house in Texas would be about 50k and much more affordable for the poor/working class.

A 10% downpayment would be 65k in Cali.. could buy the whole house in Texas in cash, and still have 15k left over
