This is silly. It was a close fight that most felt Kovalev won. They had a rematch clause. He wants to avenge his loss at his division. This suggestion that Kovalev should move up to Cruiserweight and try to win a title in the hopes that one day Ward may move up and they can have a rematch is stupid. And from a business perspective, he'll certainly get paid more fighting the likes of Ward and hopefully landing Stevenson than he would at CW. The biggest money option has recently moved up to HW. None of it makes sense from a business or legacy standpoint.

I'm a big fan of Ward, but looking at it objectively, he comes off worse here. Most believe he lost, and now most believe he's stalling the rematch, if not avoiding it altogether. Also, as a fan, what would you rather see? Me personally, I want that rematch, or Stevenson, AT LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT.
