Again I see where u are coming from but I have to respectfully disagree . Fury isnt at risk of a one punch ko with vit he would get outworked and broken down imo . Fury pulls straight back out of the pocket when he fights the way he would have to fight against vitali and that would be his u doing . Vitali is one of the few recent heavyweights I would pick to beat fury and I would bet big on him with confidence .
Hes not comparable, but in a way that is favorable to Fury. Walking up to him and punching him "everywhere" is often wishful thinking from fighters and or fans of the aggressive fighter. Hes not going to just walk in and unload like he would with a stationary target, or a guy that cant box and move for 12 rounds. Especially a guy that out reaches him and out speeds him.

He wont just walk through Furys shots either, Fury is a left handed orthodox fighter, his left hand is hard, and he has pop in his punches. There is a reason why others haven't been able to do it, Vitali would get hit on the way in, and it would disrupt his offense. I pointed the Byrd fight, because this is exactly what was happening...he would get hit, turned, and would have to reset.

Fury has many ways to avoid punches, he doesnt pull straight back as you say, he slips punches, he smothers them and he can use his feet. He is shared 30 rounds with Wlad and Wilder...they've landed a handful of meaningful punches on him. To beat Fury, you need to be quick, technically very good, and aggressive...I think Vitali is short in two of those areas.

So u are telling me that to beat fury you have to outbox him ?? That is the worst strategy ever. Fury wouldnt dent vitali , he would get walked down in a competitive fight. It would look nothing like the wlad or wilder fights vitali is a whole different animal . It's not about speed or being light on your feet it's about cutting the ring off and cornering the twitchy gypsy . Fury does not throw enuff punches nor does he punch hard enuff to beat vitali imo . But this is my opinion . And you are entitled to yours but if this was not a MM I would gladly bet you . Vitali would absolutely walk thru furys punches did u see what he walked thru with lennox ?? That uppercut would have stopped a horse man and absolutely fury pulls straight back ALOT it's one of his biggest faults .

Should have kept that one to yourself.

Fury barely beat 39 y/o Wlad so he would have no chance against prime Vitali who was a mutha fkn beast

Vitali and Lewis are easily the most dangerous heavyweights.
Agreed. Both were the H2H best heavies in history in my opinion.

Lol @ these idiots saying that LL was not motivated

Quit against Byrd saying “it hurts too much” about his shoulder. Lots of fighters have fought on with that injury. A man who quits from a shoulder injury when other fighters don’t hasn’t got the minerals to beat Fury.

As Chisora said in an interview last week, unless you’re prepared to go to dark places in the ring, you won’t beat Fury, because he’s prepared to go there. Vitali never was.

He never beat any top fighters. Fury would’ve been a class above.
Lol! Fury has two title fight wins and got Fckd up by Otto, yet Vitali has a trash resume. You need to really reassess your brain capacity and pump your brakes. You can't really be this stupid

Pleasantly surprised by NSB here, a lot of you goofs actually remember/know how good Vitali was.

He was one of the best HW's ever head to head, andextremely difficult task and for Tyson Fury the same story.

Who wins? Close win for Vitali in my mind.

Vitali was old and he was also injured. In fact, he sustained the same shoulder Injury that forced him to retire against Byrd almost a decade before. Yet, he still easily beat prime Chisora.

Vitali was hard to reach, but Fury can reach him.

He had an iron jaw, but Fury doesnt need to knock him out.

Vitali's achilles heel is that he isnt fast when we are talking about elite heavies, he needs to reset and find his distance to be effective, in his career he made up for that with the fact that hes 6"7"good work rate and a great chin. He also had good, but not concussive power.

Fury can box and move for the full 12 but is cute enough to make you miss when he stands still taking a rest, bit like Floyd. He also has a good engine...and whether people want to admit it or not, the 6"9" makes a massive difference, especially to a fighter like Vitali who wants to fight tall and uses his feet as his defence.

My feeling is that it this is a competitive fight because of Vitali's sheer determination, toughness, and chin. But his success will be too intermittent because of Fury's advantage in size, speed, and natural ability.

If I was going to design a fighter to beat Vitali, it would be someone who is taller, quicker, who has a good engine, and can box on the fly...

Fury can do all those things and is pretty tough too...I see a frustrating night for Vitali, and Fury 9-3 type decision
Nobody in history could nullify Vitali's will and offense. If Fury could not nullify Otto, he isn't stopping anything prime Vitali brings. You can forget that mess. Fury would do well not to get stopped but either way, he isn't out pointing Vitali either.

If there was one heavyweight in history that was pretty much unbeatable by decision, it's Vitali.

Don't forget, he only ever lost by fluke
