Hamed wasn't dominated by Barrera IMO

To be fair to Naz, there is no shame in losing to that version of MAB anyway.
It is true Naz hands were shot and also hadn't been training properly but if he wasn't training seriously, that was his own fault, the fight starts long before they get in the ring.
I do believe Naz could have given him a better fight a couple of years earlier but it is what it is. Naz was a genuinely excellent fighter and lost a decision to another excellent fighter. That's boxing, it happens.
It's not exactly Broner being beaten by Maidana. Naz had beaten already other good world class fighters, Barrera was one of the very best of his era.

He looked like a piņata being slapped around. He retired after that didn't he?
Allah be praised. Islam failed! But, to his credit he gave Barrera props, promised to be back, then didn't come back. He ended his career at the right moment.

Anyway his hands were completely shot and in a real bad state when he retired.

He wasn't dominated, but if you look at the highlights, it would look that way because of Hamed's off balance way of avoiding punches. He'd get caught and flail all over the place. Barrera's timing was world class. Poison for a guy like Hamed.
