  • Comments Thread For: Garcia, Donaire Promise To Stay Out of Each Other's Way

Fans are forced to accept the fact that the Klitschko brothers will never face each other in the ring. They also have to live with the fact that several fights will be left to mythical matchup status for as long as Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions aren’t on speaking terms.

The featherweight division could become the next that sees a mouthwatering matchup added to the “don’t hold your breath” pile. That depends on the outcome of the January 19 showdown between Orlando Salido and Miguel Angel Garcia, as well as how soon Nonito Donaire plans to move up from the super bantamweight division.

Its a shame boxing as a whole could be the most exciting and intriguing sport in the world (and most watched) if it were not for all these different reasons why great fights won't be made

i feel the same way ..salido is strong , big that can really pressure the hell out of nonito and we dont know if nonito carries his already diminished power to 126...if he cant hurt salido , he's gonna have to take a trip to hell and back to win...

Donaire better not leave 122 without fighting Rigondeaux and/or Mares, or he will lose me as a fan.

            Its not looking too good!

Donaire is gonna look like a FW Butterbean when he moves up. He already looks pudgy at 122.

Its always been that way but it is getting worse.

Promoters foster these primadonna antics. They believe that fans are quick to turn their backs on a fighter once he loses so they put them in nothing but winnable matches and have to sell these matches as being legit challenges.

Damn I miss the Gatti and Corrales days.

Lol, what a stupid thing to say when amateurs have to fight whoever is next in spit eof money, promotions, etc. Think before writing **** like that.
