He was not prime in 2016. It was started to become visible in the Wade fight and has only gotten worse. ****, Hopkins started noticing it when he was commentating the Brook fight. No fighter is prime in those years.

I suspect that since he has made in excess of $50 million in his last few fights, he probably doesnt give a rats arse about any of this anymore and is going to call it a day........

Golovkin has no interest whatsoever in fighting Canelo to get his titles back..... let alone pocketing that HUGE DAZN payday

          WTF ?..... WHY NOT ?????

Honestly don't get the point of the thread but it seems the OP thinks he's making one.

so, the first silly excuse was..... sulking

and the next silly excuse is..... he is bored ?

Golovkin does not want an opportunity to win back his titles, and bank another huge payday..... because he is sick of fighting Canelo

          really ?

I don't think so, I will keep looking

that is the 2nd most likely scenario, imho

it is the logical conclusion one could draw

            but.....

if Golovkin selects yet another scrub next, then what ?

we know that he is shopping around for a new promoter, so he obviously intends to keep fighting

Extremely unlikely. You dont go from making $30 million per fight to making $2 or $3 million to fight a dummy.......

like I said YEARS ago..... that team is ALL about risk/reward, but they play the game far too safe..... they do not weigh up options..... they ONLY take easy fights for whatever payday they can get..... Canelo has been the exception, but the risk is sooooo obvious now, that they have no interest in him either

way to go Team Blowing Smoke

they have been bullshltting their fans for YEARS

                green'd
                couldnt put it no clearer.

These delusional fans...seriously hope you guys are involved in some type of counseling.

It's okay to like people, fighters, whatever, but it becomes unhealthy when you start distorting reality to fit your perception of them.

Gennady Golovkin is 0-1-1 against Canelo. There is no 2-0 or 1-1 or 1-0-1. He lost and drew. Those are the facts.

Gennady Golovkin did not want to face Canelo a 3rd time. Reasons are unknown, but it was Gennady who did not want the fight. Those are the facts.

Gennady has fought 5 champion fighters (boxers that were champions before fighting Gennady, while fighting Gennady, or ever went on after fighting Gennady) in his 40 professional bouts all of which occurred at 160 pounds. By any objective standard - this is horrible. I'm not comparing it to Canelo or anyone in particular, but that's horrible.

                    lets wait and see

Golovkin has made a lot of funny decisions, and 2x totally bizarre decisions, during his career

I would actually place being uninterested in fighting Canelo for titles/money/glory..... as the 3rd totally bizarre decision that he has made..... seriously, what else is there

Whats your weak ass excuse for him ducking his mando whom hes the only 1 ORDERED to fight? Hes supposedly all about his belts but that btch been exiled in Kazakhstan rather than fight ANYONE. He knows Canelo took his soul ala Khan.

Exactly,I been saying this from day 1.
Boxing isn’t about who’s face is most ****ed up, in that case mcreggor beat Floyd you clown. Golovkin soundly won on points both fights and I’m not a groupie I don’t feel the need to defend another grown men from idiot fanboys and you’re a known canelo groupie aka you dksab.
