OKC was Durant’s team. He was the number one franchise player and he choked in the finals.

He’s still the same volume scorer he’s always been.
The only difference is that his flaws are disguised by having three other all star level players in their prime.

The Warriors were winning championships before he got there and they would be in contention every year without him.

He is the one that needed them to look good not the other way around. Plug any other allstar I. There and they would get an easy ring too.

Put Durant back on a team built around him and he folds every time.

Plus to chime in, Westbrook has been aptly named Westbrick over the past few years.

Again some players do things better than others.

Chris is the best all around PG, Westbrook the most athletic, Damian the best streak shooting PG, Stephen the best shooting PG, Kyrie the best 1 on 1 pg, Kemba might be the most underrated, Mike Conley is probably the best bare minimum PG.

However some do things that the others cant, Russell only plays one way.

As many flaws as Westbrook has, the biggest problem was that KD was the best player in OKC but he never had the heart to tell Westbrook that.

He never had the heart to tell Westbrook to play the sidekick role.

Why did Durant go to GS?

Because he wont need to do things he isnt good at and will easily win rings.
