Nah, Chavez was giving Floyd all he could handle. Easily my favorite Floyd performance.

G is not comparable to hardly anyone on Floyd's list but Guerrero, because that's how I see that fight going if it happened.

Neither guy has whooped any elite boxers, but we all know Golovkin definitely won the first fight convincingly to anyone who didn't have bias.

Also Canelo was 27 to GGG's 35 in the first fight and 28 to GGG's 36 in the 2nd fight so a prime Canelo got whooped twice by an old past prime GGG.

he's building an ATG resume. He actually kind of reminds me of a poor man's Floyd these days in terms of how he wins as he is going up in divisions

unfortunately the insufferable twats on this website have ruined any rational discussion about him

Eh, most of his big wins aren't legitimate, but I'll give him credit for a great performance on Saturday.

              Let's not overdo it now.

Like is it a necessity to overrate Canelo because you don't like GGG or his fans?

Yes he did. He whooped Canelo who you love so much in the first fight and damn near everybody but you thinks so and he did it with an 8 year age disadvantage. You would choke before you gave GGG an ounce of credit. He had 20 successful title defenses and 22 kos in a row. Can Canelo say that? The 20 guys he defended his title against were not elite but they were good fighters and mostly top 10 contenders or champions. He beat a younger better Jacobs first. Lemieux even now is a top contender at 168 and he is young not old like Mosley. Every guy GGG ever defended his title against were better than Angulo and Kirkland who are walking punching bags.

Still cant get over his punch resistance in the 9th Jacobs hit him flush with a left hook that would of stunned/knocked down any other boxer Canelo just shrugged it off and came forward.

                    Gawd bless Canelo

imagine what he could accomplish if he could use his legs properly!

it's such a shame his knees are already gone at his age

but that's what happens when you're build like a tank yet you move like Sweet Pea in the ring
