  • Why are people still salty at GGG for chasing Ward out of Boxing?

Seeing a lot of GGG hate on the boards since I unbanned you all. Never seen a group of people so hateful of winners. It's time for you "people" to bite the bullet and just accept a few indisputable facts.

    1. Andre Ward "retired" because the pressure to fight GGG was too much, with Roc Nation going broke and all. Andre knows when a certain style is all wrong for him, and GGG would have plowed him. Done. Case closed.

    2. GGG fired Abel Sanchez because he's incompetent and greedy. Sanchez says he refused to take a "pay cut" with GGG's new higher paying contract, making GGG look cheap. The actuality is that GGG offered him a lower PERCENTAGE of a much BIGGER AMOUNT, which was STILL A HUGE RAISE. But Abel tried to play hardball and found out how just how expendable and unnecessary he really is. Done. Case closed.

    3. GGG's most recent performance was nothing short of devastating. Steve Rolls was undefeated, younger and a very slick boxer. He took a full 10 count. very rare these days. Done. Case Closed.

    4. GGG beats up African Americans. GGG's only blemish or close call was to Canelo Alvarez, both fights of which could have easily gone either way. GGG is very white and beats up all black men very badly. This does not make him or his fans racist. It's time to accept this without making it a boring racial issue. Done. Case Closed.

    5. Your woman would break it off with you in order to be GGG's woman. You are in awful shape, you spend your days on a Boxing website fantasizing about being a real man. GGG is everything you wish you were, and everything your woman sees you trying to be when you waste money on Boxing gear and punching bags and sit around the house eating, burping and farting while telling obvious lies about all the "smokers" you fought "back in the day" as your woman dry heaves trying to get the skid marks out of your underwear and crying herself to sleep at night.

Time to deal with reality, people. Done. Case closed.

Don’t forget GGG offered to come down to 154 for Floyd, but someone was too afraid to risk that “0”. Ward was willing to come down to 160 to fight Floyd, but he wasn’t willing to come down to 160 to fight GGG. But the haters insist Golovkin was the one who ducked.

Ward and Floyd were friends even in that time, and Ward explained to industry what he meant about that and that it was only jokes. If he really wanted that fight he wouldn’t double back on it since it was all public.

Loeffler never explained why Ward should come to 164 even though Tom was has actual video testimony that the fight would be at 164 with Ward. Tom never contextualized that Ward said “well he said he would fight Floyd at 160...”

Tom knew that was all jokes otherwise knowing the GGG team they would’ve easily contextualized that. Industry knew better... don’t know why fans bring that up when industry doesn’t.

Rigo’s team back in 2014 said Lomachenko could make 124 catchweight against Rigo since at that time Rigo was ranked higher and accomplished more than Loma, and they also said Loma was already weighing 125 for his 126 weigh in..

        Contextualize...

... that was precisely when Ward called him "li'l Floyd"...

I also love how euro/british fighters are seen as "bums" by the dummygraphic and yet thats all pretty much ward has on his resume. I guess thats the only time they're considered elite

Ward was serious. He wanted that big money fight against a smaller opponent who slighted him. It was only much later that Ward backtracked and said he wasn’t serious about meeting Floyd at 160.

Rigo could have had Loma at 126. He ducked twice. Insisted on a 124 lb catch weight. Then decides to fight him at 126 when Loma moved to 130. Rigo squandered his prime fighting journeymen. He actually turned down a career high payday at 126, then accepted less money at 130.

Lol at this clown comparing GGG to Floyd. Who wouldn’t come down for the Mayweather sweepstakes? Mr 97K don’t bring the type of money and recognition Floyd does so of course fighters aren’t going to offer him the same concession. The one weight champion GGG is a fraud. Pathetic resume.

Ward left boxing because he could not deal with all the talent at 175lbs and knew he would take an L if he continued.
