Yes. But the rights fees weren't even 6 figures. These were the type of fights they put on. Ballroom fights

She whined and complained when PBC bought those dates on NBC because she was getting a rights fee. Now she's getting more than she was getting before.

    Thanks Al Haymon

I thought Main Events would be thinking about closing up shop or merging with another company tbh

So who all is airing boxing in the US (in English) going forward?

        Showtime and Showtime's Youtube
        ESPN/2/+
        Fox/FS1
        DAZN
        Golden Boy's Facebook watch
        NBC/NBCSN

Is Bounce still airing fights next year?
        CBS Sports Network?

        Anybody else I missed?

This should have been GBP deal. Main Events has who Kov, Chilemba and who else?

Where can GBP go now tho.

          FOX/SHO/CBS = PBC
ESPN(and possibly ABC) = Top Rank
          NBC = Main Events

Those are the four major broadcasters in USA.

I didn't think they would have to close up shop, but I thought they'd have to make an alliance with ESPN or DAZN.

I for sure didn't think they'd get a TV deal. Although I guess with MCC bringing up their previous deal I guess that shouldn't have been a big surprise cuz its not like every deal needs to be a $30M deal or w/e. There's all levels of deals to be made.

Man who knows who's gonna step in.

Epix might make them an offer lol. Who knows, but someone surely will. Personally I still say its between ESPN, Fox & Showtime cuz I think PPV is Canelo's present & future. And those are the only en****** that are supposedly doing PPV's. The rest of the roster will find a spot on the same platform just on the non-PPV side.

No, not always. Too many talent pools means fans don't get to see the fights they want to see. Fans are better off with the fighters being under fewer umbrellas so they're more likely to fight each other.

Bounce and CBS Sports still air boxing.

I think at least 2-3 more providers will be added for boxing in USA.
My guesses are the CW, AXS, TNT/TBS and MTV. One of those stations will be home to Golden Boy and another possible PBC Television series.

-CW was the home for WWE Smackdown for 10+ years.
-AXS has MMA and Wrestling (and also AXS.com was the home for Wilder-Fury tickets ...)
-TNT/TBS have basketball and baseball and golf.
-MTV aired WWE for a few years.

Nostalgia, takes me back to like 5 years ago or so.

Tyson Fury's first time on American TV was on one of these NBC Main Event cards against Steve Cunningham. That was a great night.
