Honestly watching that pernell-Chavez breakdown thread, and being a huge james Toney fan, I think pivoting on the inside is a dying skill..
Nowadays most guys pivot they totally step off and not on the inside. Toney and pernell would stand there, one little pivot but staying close, and would carve up guys..
I just don't see many fighters doing that anymore, maybe lomachenko but even he doesn't stay inside as much
