If Ortiz had come back and put some good wins together then maybe people might agree.

However once you're getting knocked out by Collazo or your jaw smashed in by Josesito Lopez then no. Berto isn't much more worthy either though.

Are you on crack? After losing to Mayweather, Ortiz went on to get stomped by Lopez and Collazo; his last victory, since Andre Berto in 2011, is against Pérez.

Both fights are the same bad joke. The only difference is Ortiz is already a can Mayweather dropped in the recycling bin.

Sadly, at this point even Berto is a much better opponent than Ortiz. That's how much he's fallen.


If he wants a shot at redemption he should fight Spence on the undercard of Floyd's next fight, see how that goes for him.
