Ok let's start this out , Tipping is not MANDATORY but is customarily (at least in America).
If I order take out Inside of a restaurant and then receipt gives a line stating TIP amount. I will not Tip, if I am not eating in your restaurant and I drove my car. Why would you even suggested that I am going to tip you ?
Another rule - You don't get a tip for doing your JOB! Period. If the customer feels that you did a good job fine but people are taking it too far.
Some times I order food but I have nothing but a credit card if I pay over the phone and forget to tell the person to include the tip then that's it. Don't send the delivery boy out there that you are paying $12-16 a hour out there begging for a tip.
Rule two delivery drivers make bank, don't feel bad for them. A Chinese food restaurant pays those ppl $100 a day, tax free that's $700 a week and you include tips that's a lot of under the table money.
If gratuity is included on the check, I am not going to double tip you on top of that.
Bartenders and drink girls, I will tip you after I am done drinking not after ever damn drink.
Two -Taxi Drivers , uber, Barbers or any kind of service you gotta deserve it.
Last statement - Never feel like your forced to tip anyone. That is robbery. Now if you are outside of America then you gotta pick your battles wisely.
What grinds your gears about tipping?
