  • Elvir Muriqi vs. Clinton Woods today

This is a fairly interesting fight.

If Muriqi wins, he has a good name on his resume and probably a opportunity to fight for a title or at least in an eliminator before too long. If he loses, he'll likely never be taken seriously as a contender.

If Woods loses, he's done as a contender. In fact, he's said he will retire if he loses. If he wins, he's back as a contender at light heavyweight.

Woods appeared to be a shot fighter against Tarver, slow-moving and unable to get his punches off.

He'd looked a lot better against Gonzalez and in Johnson III.

Yer, Woods didn't turn up against Tarver, although apparently he was suffering from some sort of infection...

He is still a good fighter though and fought a lot of people Calzaghe never did... Tarver, Johnson and an on-fire Jones to name just three....
